Independent Client-Side Visual Effects Supervisor

NW1 Films is a client-side visual effects company specialized in supervision. We work closely with the production and act as a middleman between you and VFX facilities. NW1 is represented by Sebastien Nebout, an independent visual effects supervisor who puts his creativity and experience at the service of producers and directors.

Our services

At every stage of your project, from script development, through preparation, filming and post-production, we support you in every step of the production of visual effects.

Development

In the early stages of your project, during the script development, we help you draw up an initial work plan, so you can quickly identify and anticipate the creative and financial challenges to come.

Pre-production

In close collaboration with department heads and managers, we support you, directors and producers, in the preparation of the shoot. We find the best solutions to meet your needs, while respecting your vision and budget.

SHOOTING

With the support of the various collaborators and while assisting the director, we supervise the visual effects during the shoot to gather the material needed for their production during the post-production phase.

Post-Production

As an intermediary between the production and the VFX studios, we ensure the creative and visual continuity of your project. We supervise the companies responsible for producing the effects, while respecting your schedule and budget.

SEBASTIEN NEBOUT

Sebastien Nebout Profile Picture

Sebastien Nebout is self-taught. He joined the VFX world in 2015 when BUF offered him the opportunity to join the studio. It was with BUF and Pierre Buffin that Sebastien gained his first experience as a supervisor on projects such as American Gods, Le Chant du Loup and Woman at War.

In 2018, after three years at BUF, he joined ILM in London, the prestigious studio behind the Star Wars and Jurassic Park films. He works with some of the best artists in Europe and gains a lot of experience. For almost four years, Sebastien toured the major studios (ILM, Framestore, MPC...), enabling him to work on major projects such as Jurassic World, Alita, Mission Impossible and Batman.

Back in France, he joins The Yard and supervises French and international projects until 2023. The same year, NW1 Films signs his first project as additional supervisor on Jacques Audiard's next film, Emilia Perez. The project is supervised in collaboration with Cedric Fayolle from Les Artizans.
